Saluki Rally 2010
SALUKI RALLY 2010. Our 23rd garden-party-cum-rally in aid of Saluki Rescue will be held on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th July 2010. It will be held here as per the above address send me an sae and Ill forward directions if so required. Overnight camping will again be available with some lure racing on the Saturday afternoon commencing about 2.00 pm. On the Saturday evening we will again hold our Bring and Share supper in and around the barn. On the Sunday the stalls will be set up in the barn and selling will commence at noon. The stalls will be roughly the same as usual, i.e. home-grown/made produce, saluki memorabilia, raffle and any other money-raising ideas which you might be able to arrange that would be most appreciated. Food will be served from 12.30 pm. on the Sunday entrance with/without food as per the tear-off slip below. There will be our little show on Sunday afternoon commencing at 2.00 pm. with entries being taken as from 12.30 pm. The most important class being Best Rescue. The weekend is open to ALL saluki enthusiasts and the aim of the rally is for owners and their hounds to get to know each other and enjoy themselves. In so doing if we can raise a few pounds to enable the Welfare fund to continue with its primary objective of helping salukis in distress so much the better. In addition to yourselves and hounds plus fancy dress please bring your chairs, cutlery, plates, cups/glasses, classy stuff to sell on the stalls and something for the Bring and Share supper. Do please spread the word around and bring as many of your friends as you possibly can we look forward to seeing as many people and hounds as possible over the weekend and we pray for good weather! OPEN TO ALL BREEDS.
NON SHOWING and RESCUE SALUKI OWNERS ESPECIALLY WELCOME

Walk in surrounding countryside led by members of the local walking group.

Turn back version about 2 miles
1.15 ish Time to eat your packed lunch, chill, or visit the White Lion pub for good
grub.
Tea and biscuits provided at Church.
2 .30 pm NEW FOR 2010 Simple Saluki quiz
Novelty Classes/photo competition/raffles/photos on the day etc. Further details nearer the time.
4.30 pm Fish and Chip Tea
£7 per dog in aid of Welfare Funds. Fish and chips (at cost) are £3.50 extra.
